Music Ministry Opportunities For Worship
Worship Choir
Open to ages 16 and older, our Worship Choir meets for rehearsal every Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. in the choir room. Activities for your children occur at the same time as choir, so your child is taken care of while in rehearsal. The only requirements needed are a love of the Lord, music and a willingness to work toward developing good musical skills in singing. A good sense of humor and a desire to have fun is always a good asset. The choir sings every Sunday at our morning worship service and at special events such as Christmas, Easter, and our annual God and Country Service. Children’s Choir
Our Children’s Choir are the foundation for our future growth and success in Music Ministry. We offer a fully graded choir program for kids with excellent leadership. The children are instructed in musical, spiritual and social skills. Choirs are offered for children ages 3 through 6th grade and they meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Our Children’s Choir ministry not only leads in worship during the year, but they also present a musical at Christmas and in the Spring.
Ensembles
There are several vocal ensembles that evolve out of our choir organization. These groups offer an extra challenge and deeper commitment to the music ministry. They are open to all active choir members by invitation or audition. Ensembles meet on Sunday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. or as scheduled.
Instrumental Ministry
Our instrumental ministry consist of orchestra and praise band. These groups play in the worship services on an as scheduled basis. Membership is open to adults and high school players through a brief interview.
Technology Ministry & Worship Support
Our technical crews provide crucial and vital support to our worship service and special presentations. Training is available for those interested in sound and lighting, video equipment, computer projection and television camera operations. For more information contact the church office.
